The Enhanced Community Options Program (ECOP) was intitiated to provide extensive services to elders who are medically eligible for nursing facility level of care and require increased services plans to remain safely at home.

Eligibility

• Be eligible for the Home Care basic program
• Require authorized services at a projected cost of at least two times the current monthly Home Care Program purchased service rate
• Be clinically eligible for nursing facility services, as determined via on-site, in-person assessment performed by an ASAP RN. Such assessment shall be performed utilizing an assessment tool approved by Elder Affairs.
